Terms & Conditions for Live Escape Game / Exit Room Games


Escape Game Berlin is a team game for people aged 10 to 99 years. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult or bring a letter of consent from the child’s legal guardian. Escape Game Berlin reserves the right to refuse entry without explanation. Tickets can not be exchanged for cash. Escape Game Berlin reserves the right to modify technical or operational elements for any reasons without prior notification, to close or remove. In such cases, there can be no refund of the ticket price.


1. Booking: All persons listed on the booking must have been given authorisation by all members of the group to act as representative before booking. If a group member is a minor (under 18 years), the consent of their parents or guardians must be presented. The group leader is also responsible for the timely payment to Escape Game Berlin. You must be at the time of booking, at least 18 years old. Bookings are made through our website Your booking is confirmed with a reservation number, a further confirmation is send via e-mail. This confirmation will be sent to the email address provided upon booking. However, it may also happen that a confirmation does not arrive due to various errors, such as classification of the e-mail into your spam folder. Should the ticket have been delivered properly, it serves as a testament to the respective booked rooms. Please check your booking confirmation after it arrives. If the confirmation appears incomplete or incorrect, please contact us immediately.

2. Payment: We accept cash and cartain bank cards as payment on the spot. Alternatively, you can pay when booking with Paypal, bank transfer or credit card online.

3. Conclusion: With the assignment of the booking number, there is created between you and us, a binding contract.

4. Cancellations & Changes in turn: For all bookings you have the option up to 72 hours before the start of the game to cancel or rebook the appointment for free.

4.1. Cancellations & Changes on our part: It may occasionally happen that we need to correct some details, errors or changes. As part of this, it is possible that we will cancel already confirmed bookings or need to change. For such cases we reserve that right.

5. Force Majeure: Except as explicitly noted differently stated it in these booking conditions, we regret very much that we assume no liability and will pay no compensation, if we cannot provide our service, or the immediate performance of our contractual obligations for some other reason, if you are prevented or impaired, or if you suffer other damage or loss due to “force majeure” (as in the following clause 6 (1) detailed bellow). In these Booking Conditions, the term “force majeure” means an event that Escape Game Berlin, in spite of all due care, could not foresee or prevent. Such events may include: war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity or imminent threat of terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, threatening weather conditions, fire and all equivalent events beyond our control.

6. Our liability to you:
(1) We promise to ensure that the ticket packages that we provide as part of our contract with you as agreed, perform or provide, shall be provided with reasonable care and appropriate knowledge, performed or made available. This means that we assume in accordance with these booking conditions, liability in the following, exemplified cases: you are affected by an injury or an illness as part of your contractual arrangements; broken contractual arrangements are in fact to be due to our failure or the failure of our employees to exercise reasonable care and expertise in the provision, execution of your contractual arrangements, not provided as promised or only inadequately fulfilled. Please note that it is your responsibility to prove that reasonable care and knowledge is not provided if you want to make any claim against us. In addition, we only accept responsibility for employees, if they were at the time of your activities, in an employment relationship with us.

(2) We assume no responsibility for injury of any kind, deaths, losses, damages, expenses, costs or other sums or claims of any kind which are due to: the act (s) and / or omission (s) of the affected person (s) or member (members) of your group or action (s) and / or omission (s) of a third party not connected with the provision of your stay and which were unforeseeable or unavoidable or higher violence’, as described in paragraph 6.

(3) Please note that we can not accept responsibility for any services that are not fixed by contract. These include all additional services or equipment of a provider which are not advertised in our brochure or on our website and we have not committed to their deployment.

(4) The assurances given by us to you in respect of the services, we have assured you that you as part of our contract provision or provision thereof, will be used as a basis for deciding whether the services in question have been properly made available or not.

(5) Please note that we can not accept any kind of liability for any damages, losses, expenses or any other sum (amount) for the following, (1) can be attributed to the information you have given us on your booking prior to acceptance by us and we could not predict that you suffer this in the case of our breach of the contract with you or that this would occur, or (2) are not based on a breach of contract or other fault by ourselves or our employees or, if we are responsible for this, our vendors are actually responsible. In addition, we can not take any responsibility for any trading losses.

(6) You must give any support we require as measure attached to us and our insurance companies. In addition, you must inform us and the providers concerned about your claim or complaint as set out in clause 10 below. If requested, you must contact us and our insurance companies to transfer any rights you have against the seller or other party who is responsible for your claim or complaint (if the person is under the age of 18 this must be the parents or guardians of the person). You must also agree to fully cooperate with us and our insurers if we or our insurers want to enforce a transferred right.

7. Your responsibilities: Reservations are accepted on condition that all persons arriving are in good health and are able to meet the physical and mental demands of this attraction. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of the group are in possession of the necessary travel and health documents before departure. We can assume no liability or related costs if you are denied in the area of the attraction, the access to the means of transport or admission if this is due to a failure to present the correct documents.

8. Conditions of providers: many of the services that are part of your visit are provided by third party providers. These vendors provide these services in accordance with their own terms and conditions. Some of these terms and conditions may – according to the applicable international conventions – limit or exclude the liability of the supplier to you. Copies of the relevant parts of these terms and conditions are available on request from the affected provider.

9. Complaints and other problems: In the unlikely event that you wish to complain about a visit to Escape Game Berlin or a problem occurs, you must inform us (Escape Game Berlin) immediately. Any verbal notification must be made up in writing as soon as possible. We can only solve a problem or handle a complaint as soon as we know about it. You need to notify us within 28 days of visiting our attraction to our team and to provide your booking number and provide details of your complaint. For all complaints and claims, requiring neither death, personal injury or illness has occurred, we can unfortunately not accept any liability if you have failed to make the complaint or claim entirely in accordance with this clause claims.

10. Specific concerns and medical problems: If you have special requests, you must notify us at time of booking. Although we endeavour to pass any reasonable requests to the provider in question, we can not guarantee that a request will be met, unfortunately. Failure to fulfil a specific request is not considered as a breach of contract. Confirmation that a special request has been noted or passed on to the provider or the leadership of special concern on your invoice or other document shall not be considered as confirmation that reflects the need. Unless and until specifically confirmed, all special requests are subject to availability.

11. Recording: As part of our ongoing effort to guarantee you the highest standards of service, we may monitor and record your call for training purposes. We also reserve the right to publish photos created by us, if it is not specifically requested otherwise.

13. Parking: Please find out about available parking. Parking is always at the risk of the vehicle owner.

14. Delays: Note that Escape Game Berlin is a live event. Because the rooms are specially prepared for each booking and blocked for the period booked, it is important to appear at the time of your booking and any delays due to traffic, public transport and other factors are your responsibility. If you are delayed, the agreed service can not be provided and the admission to attraction may not be granted. In this event the ticket expires and there is no entitlement to any refund. Furthermore, we retain the right in these circumstances created for us (if it is not otherwise agreed) to charge the full price.
